Mood: caffeinated
Now Playing: White Stripes, Kill Me Tomorrow
Current Reviews
White Stripes - Get Behind Me Satan
Led by the first single "Blue Orchid" this album gives even more proof of the musical talent of Jack and Meg. My personal favorates are "Denial Twist" and "Take, Take, Take". Overall the album is a further step from rock and a little more ecclectic than previous releases, but as always every song stands up to the rest. When you start playing it you can't help but listen all the way though to the end of "I'm Lonely". ****
Kill Me Tomorrow - The Garbageman and the Prostitute
I still think this San Diego band is best seen live, but if your in the mood for something new they deliver on their latest work. "Xerox My Hand" and "I Require Chocolate" are the songs that stand out the most to me. Overal to be honest I was a little disappointed, but only because I feel they took a slight step backwards from previous works, but when your on the edge of music it's always a risk when trying new directions. I would still recommend this album to anyone willing to try something different, especially if you can catch them live. ***
